Health Plus of The McDowell Hospital is a rural health clinic staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants with medical direction by a physician. Open 7 days a week from 10:00AM to 8:00PM, the facility targets those with non-emergent health issues who have limited access to healthcare because they do not have a family physician and/or insurance. All populations, regardless of race, creed or ability to pay, are seen by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
