Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy

Our Rehabilitation Department provides treatment for children and adults with disabilities, work injuries, sports injuries, functional restrictions or pain syndromes, as well as swallowing or speech impairments.  All of our clinicians are licensed by the North Carolina State Boards, and many have more than 20 years experience.  Our staff also has access to the latest technology, continuing education, and exercise regimes to provide you with the highest level of rehabilitation care. 

We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy in our inpatient and outpatient settings. 

In-patients are treated in the hospital one or two times a day, seven days a week.  In-patient care usually follows an acute illness such as pneumonia, heart attack or stroke. 

Out-patients are seen by appointment with physician referral Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Out-patient services usually follow orthopedic surgery, sports and work injuries, or as a result of neurological, pulmonary, cardiology and medical conditions.  Our out-patient gym adjoins  the Maxwell Corpening Memorial YMCA, and offers aquatic therapy, community wellness pool classes and massage therapy to our treatment options.
