Below you will find a summary of employee benefit options available to you.  Some benefits are available to everyone who works at The McDowell Hospital.  Other benefits are only available to regular full-time and part-time employees.  Still other benefits require enrollment and allow you to pick and choose what works best for you and your family.  This summary will introduce you to the many options available to you.  More information is available in Human Resources.

Health and Dental Benefits:

Medical Coverage / Prescription Plan

(Mission CDH Plan, Mission PPO Plan, Mission Basic Plan)

Different coverage options for you and your family.    The CDH Plan (Consumer Driven Health Plan) includes Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).  The PPO plan is a lower deductible plan with co-payments and co-insurance.  Plans include comprehensive medical, wellness, behavioral health, prescription benefits and more.  The Mission Basic Plan is a high deductible plan with co-insurance.

Default health plan.    Eligible employees will automatically be enrolled if another plan is not selected or proof of other coverage is not provided.

Retirement Plan Benefits:

Supplemental Retirement Plan (403-b)

Administered by Diversified investment Advisors.  Contribute pre-tax dollars.  Hospital matches a portion of your contribution up to 4% of pay with $0.50 on the dollar.  For example, you contribute 4% Hospital contributes 2%.  Employee contributions 100% vested immediately.  Employer contributions 100% vested after three years.
